“I turn 40 soon and wanted a fitness program that would give fast results and something to keep me motivated. I’m now on my 2nd month of the Insanity workout, I have lost 42lb in 6 weeks and my body is now in the best shape that it has been in since my 20′s. It is quite incredible to see how toned my body is after such a short period of time.The workouts are very hard, but with perseverance and determinaton it is well worth the effort.. When I started out I was out of shape and quite unfit..My fitness is getting there day by day, At the beginning of the program I cried at the end of each workout because it was so intense but I have learnt never to give up and I find that Shaun is very good at motivating you to carry on.. I had a 2 week break before starting on the 2nd month. I wake up an hour earlier to complete the workouts and although i have not stuck religiously to the workouts( I try to get in at least 5 workouts a week), I find the results phenomenal my energy levels are now through the roof I do try to get in at least 3 meals a day and the only thing that has changed in my diet is the alcohol intake which i reduced from everyday to twice a week instead. This is by far the best workout that I have ever done and I intend to carry on well after the 60 days . I absolutely love Insanity and love the high intensity workouts,so much so that i don’t think that I’ll ever buy a better workout then this. Be warned this is not for the faint hearted!!!
PS: Get yourself some recovery formula cause ya gonna need it!! I drink the Rego recovery formula which is lactose free.

It is now 6 months since I posted the above review…I have lost in total 50lbs with no dieting whatsoever although I do eat healthily ar least 5 times a week…After the 60 days I decided to do a different program called CLX, but I still do Insanity 3 times a week…mainly the pure cardio, cardio abs, plyo and the sports max interval training which I just love. I am after getting the Fast and Furious additional Insanitys dvd which is a 20 minute workout but as of yet it is unavailable in the UK. “Am just about to start another session of Insanity! Am four weeks into the programme and am loving it! I would consider myself someone who was in good shape but this has taken it to a different level. I have stuck pretty close to the food plan and have religiously gone through the workout schedule and boy can I can see and feel the difference. I have so much more energy in the day and my body has really toned up.
The programme does involve commitment and you have to be organised in terms of food but it is well worth it.
