“OK, having seen this product on south park, was really intrigued. I did look at a lot of reviews and clips of it on youtube and it look like the gadget I must have.

Firstly, this is not portable as one may think, this version is quite large, weighing in only at 5lb, I suppose it can be put in your rucksack or sort of school bag but with its dumbbell like shape, it takes a lot of room, so not raelly portable as one may have thought or some people (i.e. the person above who wrote the other review ) has described it.
After getting this shake weight, it wasn’t like it was on the advert on youtube in terms of how to use it. It’s not as springy as I hoped but it didn’t just spring back and forth by itself as easily as the guys in the videos showed (but then again, those guys are body-builders so possibly why it was looking that effortless when they were showing us it on the videos).

One of the main problems I have with this is when holding it, the handle, doesn’t fit perfectly in the grip of my hand so it’s a bit difficult to get on with it and I’m sure it’ll give me a bruise soon after using it more.
My second problem is that when I do try to shake this shake weight device, I find it rather difficult to get it moving and shaking (now this could be my fault in that I am too weak to use this product and maybe should have got a girl’s one first).
I didn’t give the shake weight a 3 stars for no reason, I believe the good think about this shake weight is that it definitely works your muscles, you can feel it straight after use (no matter how you think you’ve used it and if you think you didn’t use it as properly as you should like they do in the DVD instruction or on youtube videos. I will give this shake weight a try for a month continuously and I am sure I may begin to like it and be able to hold it properly and get at least a stronger arm from it by the end. I don’t think I would recommend this to anyone unless this was a lot cheaper than it is now, if its under a tenner, give it a try. It will end up bulking you up for sure with consistent use. I personally bought this with vouchers /gift card I had on amazon, but if I was to have bought this for 14.99 using my money, I probably would have been disappointed for sure. However, still say give it a try, try to look at youtube videos (not of the adverts but of people using it in public or as such) and with constant use, its pretty much guaranteed that you’ll bulk up and such.” — Bob
