“Having started with an X9 I was disappointed with the slow time to first fix (could take from 5 minutes to never!) and the lack of accuracy of the track. The X10 is a huge step forward – normally fixed within a couple of minutes and track accuracy significantly improved (though can still suffer under tree canopy).

Battery life acceptable – so far with occasional GPS use (once or twice a week)have not had to charge it other than connection to the PC to download tracks. Some have complained about visibility of time and display but I have had no serious problems.

Waterproofing makes it ideal for outdoor activity and tracking your position. Expensive but a GPS unit I can use.” — Nick
